JINR University Centre
The registration for the summer session of the START 2026 programme has been completed at the JINR University Centre. This year, the selection procedure was improved, and the format of participants' arrivals also changed. Students now arrive not on individual schedules, but in batches – on fixed dates. This simplifies coordination and allows the University Centre to organise joint events for the participants.
We invite physics teachers to participate in the International Scientific School which will be held from July 5 to July 11, 2026 at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna. The working language is Russian.
JINR University Centre announces the acceptance of applications for participation in Wave 14 of the INTEREST programme, which will be held from 02 March to 19 April, 2026. Please apply for participation till 19 February, 2026.

From January 12 to 30, 2026, a joint physics school for the Arab Republic of Egypt (ARE) and the Republic of South Africa (RSA) is being held for the first time. This school precedes the students' arrival for the International Student Practice (ISP) at JINR in June.
The START (STudent Advanced Research Training) programme invites students and postgraduates to join the research conducted at JINR and supervised by the leading scientists and engineers. Applications for the Summer Session 2026 are accepted at start.jinr.ru from February, 1 till March, 2.
For 12 years, the START student program has been supporting young scientists in the early stages of their scientific careers. In December 2025, the Summer session concluded, the list of participants for the 2026 Winter session was published, and application collection for the Summer session will begin on February 1.
